Lost Cards
BOATsmart! Canada maintains a National Database of Pleasure Craft Operator Cards.
Please contact us toll free at 1-877-792-3926 or info@BoatSmartExam.com with the following information to order a replacement card:
- Name
- Date of Birth
- Mailing Address
- Telephone Number
You can also order a replacement card by logging in below with your existing Boater ID and Password. If you've forgotten your login information or don't have a Boater ID or Password please contact our Customer Care Centre:

If your card is damaged or you have proof of passing the exam, such as a temporary slip, we can replace your card. Please fax a legible copy toll free to 1-866-514-6449, or scan and email a copy to info@BoatSmartExam.com. Please include your name, telephone number and email address so that we may contact you for payment.
Standard Operator Card Replacement Fee: $20.00 + GST
BOATsmart! Canada encourages all boaters to order multiple replacement cards. Keep one in your wallet, on each of your boats and one for back-up. Keep in mind: You MUST carry your card on board at all times or you risk a $250.00 fine. You can order additional cards for $10.00 + GST per card.
