1. Life Jacket Safety<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019ll teach you everything you need to know about life jackets<\/a> \u2014 including what life jacket to choose for your boating activity, how to ensure your life jacket fits, and how to test it each season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Plus, you\u2019ll learn how to keep your life jacket in good shape and where to store it so it doesn\u2019t get damaged in the off-season. You\u2019ll also learn how to put your life jacket on in the water, which is way trickier than you might think, so you\u2019ll want to learn how to do it properly.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Boating Right-of-Way<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Do you know what to do if you\u2019re approaching the port side of another boat? Do you keep going or adjust your course? What about at night, on an unlit waterway? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Don\u2019t panic \u2014 <\/em>we\u2019ll teach you. Learn what action to take when approaching or being approached by another boat and how to operate safely to avoid a collision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
