This is why infestations by zebra or quagga mussels will have such a negative affect on New Mexicans. Understand that it is illegal to knowingly transport AIS into and within New Mexico\u2019s borders.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">New Mexico is asking boaters to\u00a0<strong>CLEAN, DRAIN\u00a0<\/strong>and<strong>\u00a0DRY\u00a0<\/strong>their boats to stop the spread of harmful invasive mussels.
