These vary depending on the weather when you\u2019re boating. Follow the below tips in order to dock your boat with ease:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Ensure all passengers are seated securely with their feet and hands inside the boat<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li>Use the wind or current:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>If there is no wind or current, turn your boat slowly as you approach the dock at a 45\u00b0 angle in order to come to a parallel resting position. If it\u2019s necessary, use reverse to control the position of the boat.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2015\/02\/Returning-Dock-01.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-165 size-full\" data-original=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2015\/02\/Returning-Dock-01.jpg\" alt=\"Docking your Boat Diagram\" width=\"400\" height=\"400\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If the wind or current is pushing the boat toward the dock (onshore wind), approach the dock slowly at a 10\u00b0 to 20\u00b0 angle.
